Compromised Heroes

When we are small, our heroes are super heroes whom could beat dinosaurs, bad guys, monsters, save the earth and etc.

When we are young, we realized that those super heroes could never exist, then we have new heroes in our heart, like policemen who dare to fight crimes, firemen that sacrifice for saving life, doctor that fought against H1N1, lawyers who ponder for justice...

And as we grow older, we started to realized even these heroes are hard to find in real world. Then, we choose to believe that we are the hero for our children, we fight for their better future and we protect them.

So, we compromise everything in our life, including the definition of heroes. At the least, we compromise the definition to enable us to be able to pursue and to be one of them.

I'm not saying compromised heroes are not true heroes, but, could all these compromised heroes not watching at side and doing nothing when real criminal happen in front of them?

Make a phone call to police or shout for help, at least be a compromised heroes with dignity.
